Wimpy Burger in Flat Rock

Went today to try and support small business in my community. Been here before, good food but, all that changed with the service. To start with, the woman at the OUTSIDE window said you need to put your mask on or I'm not serving you. She never gave us a chance to even look at the menu. She was rude and demanding. My wife had hers in her pocket she was pulling it out. She needs to go to customer service 101. Guess that's a small business I don't need to support, if they closed, guess being decent to customers would have been asking too much. Good luck

Went with my friend, awesome food for a little place to eat. The chocolate milkshake is really good! A young waiter is very nice, keep up the good work! 10/10. 😃

When you want to go out and have an amazing burger with your friends this is the place for you then ! I was around here for business and there small burger joint is a great place to grab 10 burgers or 1. With there great prices and even better tasting food you have no choice but to try this place out. I have been around the world and tasted many dishes this is a must visit !

To start, the burgers were much much smaller than the waitress said they were. And, although the cost was still reasonably priced for what we got, I feel like honesty goes a long way when you're referring to a restaurant and it's food, and that misleading customers to make the establishment seem more appealing is a big no-no in the food business. The building very much has a "Carter's" vibe to it. All of the seats are around "bar-type" counters; there are no actual tables in the restaurant. Overall, I'd give this small place 6/10 ☆'s. I probably won't eat here again but I might recommend it to someone who is looking for quick bite. -pb

The owner and staff were very kind and friendly. This was the first time I had ever been in Flatrock and they made the trip a great one. My daughters had the "doughnut burger" and they loved them. We are definitely going to go back and try some of the other specialty burgers that were on the menu. 😁

I stop here on my bike rides through flat Rock. The burgers and fries are great. Its always busy, that should tell you something! (Trail through metroparks dump you out into flatrock, and the trail picks up again just after wimpy's. You can go all the way to Lake erie. Biking in flat rock is AOK!)

I made a stop off of I-75 and made it to wimpy burgers at 9:04 pm with my friend in the middle of a long drive. The stop was specifically for the wimpy burgers as the drive was 15 minutes out of my way. The entire staff was there along with a cook on the grill. Their hours state specifically until 10 pm. They tell us they're closed as I smell burgers cooking. I could see the cook through the side window when we pulled in as well. Needless to say I never got to try one and now I never will.

Fast and great tasting. Burgers are a little small but the staff and food was amazing.

Awesome burgers from this little spot near the post office. Similar to Bates or Greens if you've had those. They have a bunch of specialty burgers though that are awesome (still slider type, but different toppings). Milkshakes are also really good. Fries are fine, nothing too special.

Really small spot but definitely a hidden gem. The burgers are absolutely amazing and the chili cheese fries are incredible. If you are looking for a good burger this is a great place for it.

Wimpy burger has such great food, and people. The food was delicious and gooood. The people were nice and had a great personality. Wimpy burger also has great interior design, they have so many great pictures of cars. U can even come with your car and get a picture put op with it. Anyways, great food, small menu ( but great tasting food). Would recommend, great place.

I put my mask on like a normal person ya know before you go up to the window same way you would going into a store before you went in and the lady at the window was cool with me wasn't rude took my order told me to have a nice day the food is great so i don't have anything negative to say

Amazing burger joint with a range of gourmet burger and regular slider selections with the typical accompanying sides. The prices and food quality can't be beat!

Fantastic experience after randomly stopping here on our way through town. Our "server" was extremely accommodating, helpful as we were first timers, and gave us great info on the restaurant and the surrounding area while we ate. My wife and I each got doubles (small smash patties cooked on a griddle) and they were just the right size for a perfect meal with fried and a malt. We will definitely make this a destination when passing through Flat Rock in the future!

The food was disgusting!!! The burgers came out so greasy that the buns were dripping grease. The fries were cold and there were 6 people working with 3 customers lol. None of this should have been a problem. Never again.

My first time trying it, and it was good! I didn't sit in the diner itself, but I liked my meal. The taste was good and the price was reasonable! Nice staff, and of course, if you've watched Popeye when you were a child, it'll taste a bit more special!Nostalgia sauce added!

Stopped in for a quick bite while out in flat rock for a job. Staff was super awesome and friendly, the joint was spotless and clean as a whistle. Ordered my food with the nice young lady at the counter and only had about a 5 minute wait from when i ordered, which was great since i was heading about an hour back to novi and ordered carry out. I wish i would have had time to stay and eat, because the Mac burger and the chili burger i ordered were both out of this world. Insanely good and extremely reasonably priced. Anyone who’s stopping in the flat rock area for anything NEEDS to try this place out. I’ll definitely be making a special trip out for some more burgers again, especially the chili burger, i don’t care about the hour drive.

They have the best food in all of Downriver. All of the staff is very friendly and treat you like your family they have places to sit on the inside plus outside they have 6 picnic tables. The owners are wonderful people and make everyone feel very welcome they have made it very obvious that customer satisfaction is their priority

I had read a lot of good reviews about Wimpy Burger and they were all right. I thought the burgers were a good size and were very tasty. They have a few burger combinations to choose from. I had a mini mac and a Boom Boom and enjoyed both of them. The workers were friendly and my order was prepared accurately and correctly.

This place is amazing! Food is always hot and tastes great! Everyone is always so nice each time we go. We will always come back to this place. Burger and fried pickles are out of this world!

If you want a nice old school cheeseburger, this is the place. Awesome staff combined with the great atmosphere of a small town hamburger joint make Wimpy Burger a must try. Get food for the whole family as their carry out deals are hard to beat. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

Great local restaurant, classic burger place over all. Building size wise is more of a take out place they do have limited seating. Good or other wise. Smaller burger size with equally low price. Very tastey food none the less.

Wimpy Burger is an incredible burger joint. Slider style burgers made to order. I am so happy we found this gem and so close to home. Definitely in league with Bates, Greene’s, and Hunter House. They also offer specialty burgers, shakes, chili dogs, fries and rings!!! We love Wimpy Burger!!! Highly recommend this place.

Nice little burger place. The girl that helped me was very friendly and attentive. I tried the Egg Burger and the Donut Burger. They were both pretty good. Classic old school burger restaurant taste. The Oreo shake was really good. The straw they give out is too small, they should get larger diameter straws for their shakes. The prices were pretty good. The size of the burgers were on the smaller side. Slightly bigger than your basic style slider. Pretty cool decor if you're into classic cars (Mustangs, Corvettes, etc.).
